Wheel Finishing: Trimming & Decorating

Service Description

This finishing class is designed for participants who have already completed one of our wheel throwing classes and would like to complete their pieces. You will learn how to trim the foot of your pottery, refine its shape, and add decorative details using carving techniques and colored slips (engobes) to make each piece truly unique. Course Structure: Day 1: Trim your leather-hard pieces, refine the form, add decorative details, and personalize your work with colored slips before firing. Duration: The course lasts approximately three hours. Notes: This class is suitable for participants who have previously created their pieces in one of our wheel throwing classes or during Open Studio. Please note that glazing is not included in this course. After your pieces have been bisque fired, you can book a glazing course or add the glazing service to complete your pottery.
